Bystander Intervention in the Workplace

Course Description

Bystander Intervention in the Workplace replaces the previous Bystander Intervention course.
This updated version helps employees learn how to recognize harmful or inappropriate situations and understand when and how to step in safely.

Learners explore a practical toolkit of intervention strategies they can use across many workplace scenarios. They will practice spotting harmful behavior, identifying what might prevent someone from getting involved, and choosing actions that contribute to a healthier, more respectful workplace. This course fulfills the bystander intervention requirement under the City of Chicago’s training law and is appropriate for employees in any location.
