We are excited to share that we have completed translations for our new Data Security and Data Privacy in the Workplace and Workplace Ethics: Our Code of Conduct courses. As part of our commitment to continued innovation, we will be retiring the previous versions of these courses, Data Security and Privacy and Code of Conduct. These courses have been rebuilt using updated technology and content, and now that all translations are available, we are excited to move you to the new versions.
What are the benefits of switching to the new courses
Data Security and Data Privacy in the Workplace
- Completely new content following cybersecurity best practices
- Each module is 10 minutes long and can be assigned individually
- Content does not focus only on U.S. law and offers globally applicable guidance
- Videos in every module, including branching video scenarios

- Each module is 10 minutes long and can be assigned individually

- Short quizzes at the end of each module to test learners’ understanding
- Available in Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), French (Canada and France), German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, and Spanish (Latin America and Spain)
What does this mean for me
The new Data Security and Data Privacy in the Workplace and Workplace Ethics: Our Code of Conduct courses, including translations, are already available on the ComplyEQ Foundry platform. The previous versions of the Data Security and Privacy and Code of Conduct courses will retire on 12/12.
Learners who started the retired courses before 12/12 will still have access to complete their assignments. After 12/12, new assignments to the retired courses will no longer be available.
All records from the retired courses will remain available to you.
What actions do I need to take
- The new courses are already added to your platform, and you can begin assigning them now
- If you are a SCORM user, you will need to create and download a new SCORM package and reset your retraining schedule
- Review your custom configuration. The new courses include additional configurable pages, and you will need to transfer all policies and configured pages to the new versions of the courses. For more information, review the configuration setup guide
