Preventing Harassment and Discrimination Seat Time Requirement
How ComplyEQ automatically ensures minimum training time compliance
Overview
Many states require employees to spend a minimum amount of time completing harassment prevention training. These requirements can vary by state, role, and location, making manual tracking difficult.
ComplyEQ simplifies compliance by building dynamic seat time requirements directly into the Preventing Harassment & Discrimination in the Workplace course suite. This ensures learners meet applicable legal requirements without additional administrative effort.
How Seat Time Compliance Works
Each course includes a built‑in minimum seat time based on the learner’s role, such as Supervisor, and location, such as California. Learners cannot complete the course until the required amount of time has been met.
If a learner reaches the end of the course before satisfying the minimum time requirement, they are automatically directed to supplemental course content. This continues until the required seat time is fulfilled.
Because seat time requirements adjust dynamically using the learner’s user profile, compliance stays up to date as long as role and location information is accurate. When a learner completes the course, you can be confident that the applicable minimum seat time requirements have been met.
