Reactivate Users

Restore access and historical data for previously deactivated users

Overview

There may be times when you need to reactivate a user who was previously deactivated in Foundry. This can happen if an employee returns after time away or if a user was deactivated by mistake.

Reactivating a user restores their existing account and preserves all historical information, including prior activity and progress.

Reactivate a Deactivated User

To reactivate a user:

  1. Go to Users and select Manage Users
  2. By default, only active users appear. Click See All Filters to update the view
  3. Scroll to User Status, expand the section, select Deactivated, and click Apply Filters
  4. Locate the user you want to reactivate, or use the search bar to find them by name
  5. Select the checkbox next to the user’s name
    • You can select multiple users if needed
  6. Click Reactivate at the top of the table

Once reactivated, the user regains access using their existing account.

Note: If assignments were not closed at the time of deactivation, the user’s progress remains active. The user can continue where they left off, and reminders for incomplete assignments will resume.
