Retraining Learners
Use training periods to assign courses learners need to retake
Overview
Training periods help you organize course assignments for retraining purposes. A learner can only be assigned a course once per training period, which prevents duplicate assignments within the same cycle.
There are situations where a learner needs to retake a course they have already completed, such as for annual compliance requirements or recurring training obligations.
Retraining With Training Periods
To retrain learners on a course they have previously completed, you must create a new training period. This allows the course to be reassigned without affecting past completion records.
When creating a training period, we recommend using a clear and descriptive name that reflects the purpose of the retraining. This makes it easier to understand which assignments are associated with that training period when managing users and reporting.
