What This Error Means

You may see the following error during single logout (SLO) after a user signs out of Foundry using single sign‑on:

SAML ID provider in the logout request is not configured in the system

This error occurs after a user has successfully logged in with SSO and then attempts to log out.


Why This Happens

This error is caused by an incorrect Single Logout URL configured for the identity provider in Foundry.

When Foundry attempts to initiate logout, it cannot match the logout request to a properly configured identity provider endpoint.


How to Resolve the Issue

  1. Log in to the Foundry Admin Portal with admin access
  2. Go to Settings > Single Sign‑On
  3. Open the identity provider configuration
  4. Review the Single Logout URL
  5. Update the URL to match the correct logout endpoint in your identity provider system

After saving the change, test logging in and logging out again using SSO.
